Phenotype annotations for a gene are curated single mutant phenotypes that require an observable (e.g., "cell shape"), a qualifier (e.g., "abnormal"), a mutant type (e.g., null), strain background, and a reference. In addition, annotations are classified as classical genetics or high-throughput (e.g., large scale survey, systematic mutation set). Whenever possible, allele information and additional details are provided.

Gene | Phenotype | Experiment Type | Mutant Information | Strain Background | Chemical | Details | Reference |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
CDC45 | cell cycle progression through the G1/S phase transition: arrested | classical genetics | conditional Allele: cdc45-26 W481R; Psf1p-interacting RecJ fold mutated | Other | Temperature: elevated temperature, 37 °C Treatment: alpha factor block release Details: wt cells initiate DNA synthesis 60 min after release and enter G2 phase 30 min later while mutant cells barely start DNA synthesis 180 min after release from a G1 block, with only a small percentage of cells with S phase DNA content | Denkiewicz-Kruk M, et al. (2025) PMID:40139510 | |
CDC45 | cell cycle progression: delayed | classical genetics | conditional Allele: cdc45-26 W481R; Psf1p-interacting RecJ fold mutated | Other | Temperature: permissive temperature, 23 °C Treatment: alpha factor block release Details: DNA synthesis is delayed, beginning at 75 min compared to 45-60 min in wt cells, and progression through S phase is slowed, entering G2 phase with a 30 min delay relative to wt | Denkiewicz-Kruk M, et al. (2025) PMID:40139510 | |
CDC45 | heat sensitivity: increased | classical genetics | conditional Allele: cdc45-26 W481R; Psf1p-interacting RecJ fold mutated | Other | Temperature: elevated temperature, 37 °C Details: unable to grow at 37°C | Denkiewicz-Kruk M, et al. (2025) PMID:40139510 | |
CDC45 | mutation frequency: increased | classical genetics | conditional Allele: cdc45-26 W481R; Psf1p-interacting RecJ fold mutated | Other | Temperature: permissive temperature, 23 °C Details: increased spontaneous mutagenesis with the forward mutation rate at the CAN1 locus increasing from 51 × 10-8 in wt cells to >84 × 10-8 in the mutant | Denkiewicz-Kruk M, et al. (2025) PMID:40139510 |
This diagram displays up to the top 30 positive interactions (green), negative interactions (orange), and phenotypes (blue) that are shared between the given allele (black) and other alleles (purple). The shared interactions or phenotypes can be visualized separately using the radio button at the bottom of the graph.
