What is RSS?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication which is an XML-based format
used to publish summaries of changes to a web site. These are popular
for published headlines at news sites, such as Google News or New York
Times. RSS feeds make it easy to know an update has occurred to a web
site without visiting the site.
How do I read an RSS feed?
There are multiple ways to read an RSS feed. You can install a news
reader, such as FeedDemon, or use a web-based RSS reader, such as
Firefox, Safari, My Yahoo, or Google Reader.
RSS feeds can also be viewed in email programs, such as Yahoo Mail and
Mac Mail version 3.1.
