Whitelaw NC, et al.  (2010) Tuning in to noise: epigenetics and intangible variation. Dev Cell 19(5):649-50

Abstract: In this special issue of Developmental Cell, we discuss the role of chromatin in phenotypic variation as a counterpoint to the reviews on chromatin dynamics in development and cancer. We highlight some recent work on the role of chromatin in transcriptional noise in yeast and Caenorhabditis elegans and consider the implications in understanding intangible variation or developmental noise in mammals.CI - Copyright (c) 2010 Elsevier Inc.
