| 2001-10-16 | In 1999, Wieczorke EA, et al reported finding "that all of the Hxt proteins but Hxt12 are able to transport at least one of the different hexoses and permit growth of the hxt1-17 gal2 deletion strain" and that they "were not able to functionally express Hxt12, supporting the view that HXT12 is a pseudogene".
