Nomenclature History
Standard Name Reference

Sequence Annotation Notes
DateNote
2006-04-13ARS808, also known as ARS2, was added to the genome annotation for Chromosome VII at coordinates 140342-141267 based on Wyrick et al. 2001 and Hsiao & Carbon 1981. "ARS2" is being retained as the Standard Gene Name for historical reasons, but the systematic name "ARS808" is being used for consistency purposes, to indicate that this ARS is part of Chromosome VIII.
