| 2003-09-27 | Based on the alignment of orthologs in related fungi, Cliften et al. and Brachat et al. both proposed an intron and new 5' exon for YOL048C. Brachat et al. confirmed this intron using 5' RACE. The resulting ORF is in the same frame, but has a 236-residue extension at the N-terminus. This change was reviewed and accepted by SGD curators.
