| 2007-02-27 | Miura et al 2006, using full-length cDNA analysis, determined that YNL194C and YNL195C share a promoter to generate three different mRNA forms. One forms contains YNL194C and terminates between YNL194C and YNL195C. A second form encodes a protein containing the first 5 amino acids of YNL194C, 26 residues from the intergenic region, and 251 residues from YNL195C. A third form carries both ORFs, which may function as a bicistronic mRNA. They did not obtain any cDNAs carrying only YNL195C.
