Nomenclature History Notes
DateNote
2003-02-21The sequence initially identified as the MFT1 locus (Garrett et al., 1991) is actually ribosomal protein gene RPS1B/YML063W; the MFT1 gene is actually encoded by the adjacent ORF YML062C (Beilharz et al., 1997).

2003-12-09The ORF initially identified as the MFT1 gene is actually the ribosomal protein gene RPS1B/YML063W. The actual MFT1 gene is the adjacent ORF YML062C.

DateNote
1996-09-21Edition 13: RP10A (RPS1A) and RP10B (RPS1B) are nearly identical; RP10B (RPS1B) was previously called MFT1, which was later found to be comprised of two genes, now called MFT1 and RP10B (RPS1B) (PLC2)
