Sequence Annotation Notes
2006-09-25N-terminal sequencing by Yamazoe M. et al. demonstrates that the mature end of ETR1/YBR026C (SSSAHQ...) is 9 codons downstream from the currently annotated start codon. These authors suggest, but do not demonstrate, that this mature end is a result of post-translational processing. However, it is also possible that a downstream methionine is the correct start codon (MSSSAHQ...).
