PAP1	Nomenclature conflict	PAP1 has been used in the literature to refer to both BAP3/YDR046C (Mai, B. and Lipp, M. (1994) Gene 143:129; PMID:8200527), which encodes a branched-chain amino acid permease, and PAP1/YKR002W (Lingner, J. et al. (1991) Nature 354:496; PMID: 1840648), which encodes a poly (A) polymerase.
