Several key features from the previous version have been kept and expanded. (1) All major categories of information available at SGD are still listed on the left side of the page. Each major category name is a direct link to a contents page that lists all the resources available in that category. In addition, links to the frequently used resources in that category have been added. More about this navigation menu is described in the next section. (2) Any news about the yeast community and updates at SGD will still be posted in the center of the page. (3) There will continue to be a toolbar at the top of every page at SGD so you will only be one click away from the most frequently used pages. Links to categories and resources have been added to the toolbar. In addition, a new site map will provide a single page view of every resource available at SGD. |

As a visual cue, the background color of the category name changes as you mouse over them. It also indicates that you will be able to click on them. This menu will be located on the left hand side of the home page as well as every contents page. |

When you click on a category name, you will be taken to a page that lists all the resources that are available in that category. For a description of each of the major categories, click the help button. Each contents page has the left hand navigation menu so you can change to a different category. The category name of the contents page you are viewing will be highlighted as a visual cue. And as always, the common toolbar is present at the top of each contents page. |
