SGD Help: Systematic Sequencing Table

Contents

Description

Systematic Sequencing Table is a table containing current information about each chromosome with links to SGD and MIPS sequence retrieval forms.

Using the Systematic Sequencing Table

The first column lists the chromosomes by number. The user can select a chromosome number from this column and obtain the general features for that chromosome. This information includes the relevant publication, names of the sequencing collaborators, and an abstract with a description of the chromosome features.

The coordinators of the DNA sequencing project are listed in the second column. Colleague information for each person can be obtained by selecting the name of a coordinator.

The Retrieval Options for each chromosome includes a link to the DNA/Protein Sequence Retrieval form, SEQ and Display, and MIPS. The MIPS option links to the MIPS Web site containing public data from the systematic sequencing project for each chromosome.
